The particular focus of this blog is debunking Neo-Stalinists, or individuals who believe that Joseph Stalin did nothing wrong, and that his ideology was righteous. The reason why I have focused this blog on debunking Neo-Stalinists is for 2 reasons:
1. The history of the Soviet Union is my "niche" when it comes to history. The history, governance, politics, culture, military, crimes, etc. of the Soviet Union is my primary research point when it comes to history. Since I study Soviet history, refuting those who deny Soviet crimes is right up my alleyway.
2. All the often, I see people on the internet who are not able to refute claims made by Neo-Stalinists, and therefore, they are unable to defend the historical fact that Joseph Stalin was a mass murderer. This blog seeks to educate people on Stalin's crimes, and provide them with the knowledge needed to refute Neo-Stalinists.
The reason why this blog is called "Stand Up For History" is because I seek to "stand up" for historical facts and truth.
This blog has the following overall goals:
-Help educate people about the history of the Soviet Union under Stalin and about the various crimes of Joseph Stalin, a man who murdered millions upon millions of people.
-Stand up for historical facts; debunk Stalin apologists who continue to defend Stalin.
